Hi, i found this place and am glag i did.
Since this is my first post ide like to share what i wish my ps2 could do.
First i have a first model unmodded US PS2 and a modded first model japanese Dreamcast (modded only to play imports).
Ive been searching for info on how i could read/write to my PS2 HDD so i can maybe change some music files for games like FFXI (like the music hack for the PC).
Now i see you can put whole games in your HDD, Neo Geo and other console games on PS2.
I love Neo Geo games and still kept all the Neo CDs (i just cant part with them) but had to sell my carts, systems and them awful long loading time CD players.
Ive tried the dreamcast neo geo emus but they seemed to slow i looked towards getting a xbox if they had a excellent neo dc emu running on it but couldnt find anything.
Anyways heres what i wish (done possibly unmodded):
To find a way to play my Neo Cds on my PS2 (or any other home console) flawlessly with fast loading times and with the audio intact.
Have a ps2 HDD reader/writer so i can change/add some music files to games like FFXI or backuped GTA (GTA games really need a HDD).
Can anyone tell me if theres anything close to this? I miss my neo games.
