    Hello guys!

    I have a problem I don't really know where the 12v points are. Her is a picture of my PS2 (v5/v6) and the other is one where the 12v Points are painted in. My one looks different and now I'm asking if these points are the same like my ones.

    I remember when I was first putting a blue cold cathode in my PS2. I was confused because my board (v4 PSU) looks different from that picture, but believe me it is the same. If you are still unsure use a multimeter at those points and find out for sure. That's what I did and was confident once my multimeter read 11.98v DC.

    you can also go right under those 4 things that stick up and go into the powersupply.

    I think its the left one above the left 5 squares

    But use a multimeater .... thats easiest

    I feel showing off my ps2. The cathode and LEDs are running off the same 12v point.

    yeh thats what i thought (dont forget both of those pins are +12v the other 2 are -ve or gnd (same thing rly since the ps2 isnt actually gnd'ed)
