    TMH88 Guest
After modding about 10 xboxs i decided to give PS2 a shot. Anyway I'm going to install some LED's and I'm going to use the USB ports to power them. Heres a picture I took and labeled. Am I correct? thanks

I know one of them is the 5 volt but I'm not sure exactly. I think its the way that I showed in the picture, but it might be the opposite of that.

Ok, I know its 5 volts, and thats not what im asking. I'm asking which pin is the 5 volts in the picture that I posted. I know that hte 2 outer pins are either 5 volts or ground, I'm just not sure which is which. I forgot to mention that I dont have a multimeter

Multimeter method is pretty difficult to do as the console got to be powered up to show voltages - sony didn't leave much room for measurement from the actual pins. You can check on an assembled console though, just probe the ports or cut a cable and see which one plug is the red one. Hope the attached helps.
