I've been searching high and low for a hack to get around the v14's USB problem. (not being able to use pen drives, USB HDs, ect) Does anyone here know, or have seen a way to fix this? It's seriously starting to piss me off. I had an old chubby PS2, and they worked just fine, but I farked it up when I was soldering something inside it, went to take a piss, come back and find out that someone had laid the iron on the board and melted everything together. I didn't even bother trying to fix it, so just after Christmas I bought a new slim one, and find out the USB crap don't work... Any help?

its probably because they uses different drivers... there's nothing u can do unless you're an SONY engineer for PS2...
    my modding:
matrix infinity: on and off 6 times
external speakers /w leading wire: done
memory card LED (activity + connectivity): done
controller status LED change + vibration LED: done
    color-change lighting in v12: done
rgb to vga for monitors: FAILED due to not enough material
portable/internal LCD: sadly failed, as ps1 screen doesnt fit. planning same mod with intec screen
external harddisk for v12: CANCELED due to v12 breakdown
window for ps2 dvd-drive mod: in progress
