05-07-2006,06:19 PMTake 5V from the motherboard,dont take it from the PSU(12V) unless you want the leds to stay on permenently.
I recomend taking it from the usb connector (see pic),it was taken from the duo3 install diagram.
BTW sounds like your laser is dead,but to be honest I dont think the Led to 12V killed it though....
