Showing off your modchip with cool mod.....

I am in the process of doing a mod that will show off my DM$3 modchip. I am movign out the powersupply and cutting a hole where the dm$3 chip is, so it can be seen outside my case via plexi-glass window. i will provide pictures so that you can do ti yourself......maybe even a tutorial.

So far so good only experiencing problems with the metal touching the board....should be done by today......my only other problem is that for the tutorial, it will onyl be for ***3....

This sound pretty cool but as for the tutorial why would it matter what chip u had? One chip pretty much the same as the next chip...

Sorry to jump on your thread, but i remember a Case Mod ages ago (a good 2 years) that was by Charlie_Ps2 (musta been old!). Where he had like a Biohazard design and a Magic 3 chip viewable from the front, mounted to the front of the case . And then had cut through the shielding and had wired it directly to the mainboard

Really neat! he had actually cut the case with lasers and stuff i believe, he posted it on this site but i think theyve wiped most of charlies stuff now, shame

really that is pretty cool, right now i am expereincing ***3 problems at i think when i cut the metal, it was servign as grounding for the ***3....now that i cut it i need a new area place to ground.

It wasnt by Charlie Ps2...IT WAS BY ME No but seriously, yeah, thats mine. Charlie_Ps2 helped give me the points to connect the lighting. But the design is mine, and the Atomic Ps2 is still in my room

here is the pic. Search this forum for other info on it, i posted it here a few months ago. I made this particular mod when Magic 3 chip just came out, so thats how old it is.
