    as title says...im new here and this is a crazy idea i had, has anyone done it, is there any possibilities that it will fit??

    opened up my ps1 and the space is just 2 small...im sure theres no way in hell heh

    With PStwo innards you could probably get that into an original PSX console case.

    on hand i only have a fat ps2, and its just 2 big for that small case, mainly just the psu causing all the problems

    I think you should be able to cram the innards of a slim PS2 in a PSX case. I have an old version1 PSX here that has not worked in years and if I had a slim PS2 I would be up for craming it in there. If ya do it, Post plenty of pics and keep us updated. This would be really cool to see I think.

    does the Slim PS2 use a heatsink?.... might try a non passive cooling setup.. such as a small 486 cooling fan over the processor to save space.... also I'd like to see how you plan on getting the DVD Drive (oh wait it's a fliptop on the slim) never mind... all good... I think it should work as well... getting the MC and controller ports in the right position might suck... but should be doable.

    The PS2 Slim's have a rather large heat sink and a sideways fan. I could add some pics of the insides if you need to see it, as the slim has about 0 cm left in it. Sony really took time to pack the PS2 (both fat and slims) in a very small case...
