but does anyone know if i get a 1-2tb hdd could i have it partitioned in a way to use it on my ps2,ps3, and nintendo wii?
Are there any issues at all with playing HDLoader games (GoW2, GT4, etc)
as well as any issues with playing media via SMS?
i don't know i have been on my wii and ps3 lately but i will get a hdd for the ps2 soon i want a 1tb for testing

I'm interested because I'm working on putting a ps2 in my car and am currently using an older IDE 2.5" hd, and I have confirmed that works using the 2.5-3.5" adapter with HDLoader and SMS and uLE.
If the SATA has the same compatibility, I will go that route. Always better to have newer hardware.
i'm thinking a 2.5 laptop hard drive will work only in this adapter i modded to fit in
