About LinkBackshey guys i know this sounds that its not worth the effort..but im just so bored..
okay here's the thing: i'll be modding a ps1 controller into a DDR mat, has anyone done it before?
i know that ps2 controllers works with DDR, but im not sure whether PS1 con works, and the wiring might be hard coz the updownleftright thingy are like big oh the mat.
anyways...i'll need some suggestions, like what i'll be making it out of..^_^
plus: anyone know where i can find a radio shack somewhere near downtown Vancouver? like near street 41

my modding:
matrix infinity: on and off 6 times
external speakers /w leading wire: done
memory card LED (activity + connectivity): done
controller status LED change + vibration LED: done
color-change lighting in v12: done
rgb to vga for monitors: FAILED due to not enough material
portable/internal LCD: sadly failed, as ps1 screen doesnt fit. planning same mod with intec screen
external harddisk for v12: CANCELED due to v12 breakdown
window for ps2 dvd-drive mod: in progress

09-20-2005,10:49 AMhey... Im actualy building lots of homemade DDR pad out of wood.. metal plate...screws...
and using a Psone controller is WAY MORE EASY.... you have good big solder spot on those. Ps2 (new) controller have a plastic PCB with is not realy solder "able"
