I used that duplicolor stuff that changes color. Used it on my XBox, it supposed to turn from Red to blue, but it looks more purple to me. And the clear coat turned the white parts a shade of yellow.
If I could do it over, I wouldent have painted it at all. Its been months and if you lay something on it, like a controller, you can still feel it sticking to it.
Im going to send my PSTwo case to www.dash-kit.com for some hydro graphics. I had my V7 done in Blue Carbon Fiber and it looks awsome.
personally...I've painted several at my bodyshop and I think that's the only way to go. I scuff the plastic with a scotch-brite and spray a raw plastic primer on the plastic to help paint adhere to it. Then...I paint whatever color asked for..then clear it. Nice bulletproof finish!
I've painted two cases, and used two differnet types of paints. On my own ps2 I used interior automotive paint and it came out very nice. However, on my friends ps2 I use krylon fusion paint and that stuff sticks VERY well. Both paints did the job, but if you can find a color of that krylon fusion you like, then I would suggest you use it. It's made to bond to plastic with no prep, and I can definatly say it does.
Well I used mellatic rustoleam paint and it worked great. It changes color in light from a black to a light blue. it was also $1 a can!!!
yeah... I decided not to paint this year and put up aluminum siding instead.... OH playstation... what about using on eof those Testor Airbrushes with model paint... used one years ago on an R/C car it came out ok... Do they even make those kits anymore?
Mine changes to black when I turn the lights out :DQuote:

Where'd you pick that up at? My fliptop has some stupid Z on the top of it. I'd like to sand it off, but I'll need to paint it something afterwards. I haven't decided what I'd like, but this sounds hot.Quote:
