Well, my seach for a complete, replacment case failed. So I have to decided to simply spray paint my system. BUT, anyone who has tried to spraypaint plastic knows it's a MAJOR pain in the ass. My question is, what paint works best for the ps2? I was thinking krylon fusion or model car paint, but what works best by experience? Please help!

whenever i paint my ps2 i use regular flat white paint from wal-mart after sanding it first. MAKE SURE YOU LET IT DRY FOR 24 HOURS. then i go over it with whatever color i want and it looks great.

I used kyrlon fusion to paint my console and a controller. The console turned out fine but the controller is rubbing off now.

I've always wanted to paint my controllers, however I was worried about the paint rubbing off as is happening to shaggyz9. Anyone have any idea's as to how to prevent this?

Any type of dye paint, one that actually seeps into the plastic and stains it will not rub off on your hands. Duplicolor and Krylon both sell vinyl dye paints. I havent pained any ps2's but i have done tons of xboxes using this stuff.

if you choose not to get vinyl dye (which is best) get some clear coat and lay it on generously. Not all at once b/c that will just mess up your paint job. When its all done it will be smooth and shiny. It will also make your paint, if it contains any glitter or sparkle, shine

you can use WHATEVER kind of paint you want. You'll just have to prep and sand it first.
