memory card LED official mod!

ok, i posted about this in a few threads.... finally got a good idea of wat to do, then started planing. im bout to step out the door to get what i need.

here a a few begining pics , after i get my led , resistors and so on, il start the real modding.

i first cut it out of clear squared from a cd case because im going to be adding a window on my memory card.with a blue LED behind it lighting up the insides, when the MC is in the ps2, it will be lit from the bottom side. look at the pics....i relized the cd case plastic is 2 thick, i will use the plastic from somehting bought from the store found on many retail producks, its hard to open,. usually gotta cut wit a sissor, the slide your hand in and get what you bought , lol its kindda child proof. but i will using that because it is durible and thin. ill be back in afew wit my LEDs ect... will post more pics soon.

I also wanted to add a LED to my PS2's memcard (I have the clear ones). Did you figure out which point on the mem card provides power?

ok i just tryed to solder an LED to the memory card. wth out resistors or transistor. but it doesnt light up and i was told that these 2 point are where to solder it to... can anyone help me out. i dont have my tester at the moment and i was woundering if you could check for some points where 3volts is..at most 15mA. can someone help me out.

do u just want it to light up all the time for for memory card access?

i just need it to light up.... either all the time or just when its being used. i already put a window on it.
