MC lighting... compatable cards

Well I anounced in the MC ativity LED thread that the Sony and the MadCatz MC are identical to each other...

same layout and same chips (expect the flash chip is Samsung not Toshiba). but same size and all the traces are the same...

so the MC activity LED will work on it as well....

I don't have a Nyko MC with Magic Gate... if anyone has one compare it to the pictures and give input...

Also I doubt that the Datel 16MB, 32MB, and 64MB noncompressed MC will have the same layout... but would be nice... since I plan on getting 2 of them (64MB)...

Someone should have a Nyko card... they are yellow... with black rubber pads for grips...

I can confirm that the Nyko card and the Sony card have the same chip. I took the chip out of the nyko case and put it in my see-through blue PSX case. I just need a little practice with a soldering iron and i'll put some lights on it.

why are u gotting 2 64mb memory cards? just use ur HD for your saves... u only nned a normal 8mb card

Transfers.... suck.....

And I'm needing different Fiber optics... the ones in the TOSlink are to frail... they keep breaking....

so this is on old until I can get a hold of some.
