@andreq:
so this guide works?
it lights up, when it's on work?
I mean... i did the 1 transistor 2 resistor 1 led ... not this one....
->Schicksal
is it the one with complicated wiring you're talking about?
it works, but all it does is to blink, which can be achieved by a simple blinking LED.
i dont suggest you do it, unless you're highly confident with ur skills... i'm planning on doing it with my $2 ps1 mc, which wont be too costy.
BTW, i tried the one with pnp transistor, seems like ppl should be waiting to hear my news.![]()
okay, it does turn on, but the thing is it doesnt blink AT ALL, which shows no sign of neither reading nor writing (i tried both), and my transistor is A1015, exactly the opposite of C1815, just a bit off on the collector side, but its not a issue here.
dont know what went wrong there, but looks like there's no damage to memory card.
normaly the problem is that the small IC pin wasnt well soldered... or your PNP schematic wasnt good ?.... .... actualy I removed mine because of the IC pin was always desoldering... but ill retry with a peice of wire instead of the resistor leg![]()
the pnp transistor works well, i tested it with a multimeter before installing it...
seems like the mc doesnt supply enough power for the base to turn it on
