Ive been modding xboxes for awhile.. and my friend dropped off his ps2. He wants me to finish up his window and add a bunch of LEDs. I have never opened a ps2 so basically, i am n00b.
So im wondering where i can get 5v from.

From the USB ports, if u dont use the usb of the ps2 then u can get the 5v from one of the ports... the only downside is, that particular usb port that u use for 5v wont work but the other one will....
u can hook up leds to any power point that u can find on mod diagrams. 5V or 3.3V. I suggest a 100 ohm resistor
where do i find these mod diagrams?????
And yea, i have 100ohm resistors so im good on that.
google it!
theres a modchip diagram sticky in the modchips section of this forum just go there and look at some diagrams of your version![]()
Alright, will do.
Thanks.
