COuld someone point me to a tutorial for soldering led lights in a ps2 v12
now i know that the power supply is external so does that mean that i will have to solder to a 3.3v point with no resistors on the led... I just need pictures of the points and whether or not i still need a resistor
Ok i found pictures and now im scared. BEcause i really dont want to solder to a fuse solder point. if you can solder soldering leds to v1-v11 is fool proof but it looks like a diff story with v12

WOW u actualy found a pic?
can i have it??? PLEASEEEEE????????
i've been looking for it for centuries
yea i found that already, but would there be any other alternative points?
let's say the usb ones, coz i really wouldnt mind loosing one usb port but having my LED to fight with my MI for power is a bit hush...i mean one of them might disfunction a little bit
okay i gave up on the 3.3v point, im gonna use the modchip one.
but where actually do you connect the gnd point?
coz for different modchips it is different
please tell me whether u connected the green one or the red one(occording to attachment)
coz i heard u got it working rite?
you see the gold strip going around the motherboard, thats a GND point so you can solder sround there, it will make a great GND point for your LEDS.
yea thanks, that's a lot of help
however i really, and i mean REALLY want to know an alternative 3.3v, 5v, or 12v point where i can put it, cos i seriously dont think its a good idea stealing power from my modchip. BTW, im using a v12(pstwo/slim)
thanks
yeah where else can it be powered from.... I would like to find one that is bigger and maybe not attached to a fuse. LOL
people, what is a fuse?
i mean, is it a power supply to the SPU or what
and if there's any, and i mean ANY v3.3 points that is not connected to my modchip, please tell me about it
