This is my first case mod, the gateway to what this machine is going to be. It's going to get a candy orange paint job with some copper flake ghost flames coming up off the biohazard. As soon as I find the extra cash, a red cold cathode (anyone know a good seller?). It's also getting the infinity chip and one of my extra hard drives.

Also, anyone have luck with lighting the bottom grill using leds? I want a "solid" light but the 8 red 5mm leds I have down there aren't doing anything.

Very nice cutting job on the case.

As far as cold cathode tubes go, just about any good online computer part vendor, such as newegg, or frozencpu have cold cathodes. They have good shipping too. i would recommend getting one from there.

It's painted, now I just have to remember to grab the cam out of my wife's car. All I can say is whoa. ...be careful if you ever use candy paint, scratches come through.

    Pics Below....

hehe... It's a candy orange with a silver undercoat. It's automotive paint, any good auto supplier will have it, I believe these are PPG paints. The flames are a copper flake, airbrushed freehand.

I was told by the friend that did it that it was a $200 custom paint job, but I got it free since he had it laying around the garage

After I get a new motherboard for it (V7) I'm still doing the mod chip, and cold cathode, but now I'm looking into integrating the network/hdd adapter to internal and using a laptop hdd so I can fit it all. ...new job with better pay means more fun!

Dremelled the big stuff and got the corners with a hot exacto knife. Sanded it with 80 grit to round it out and finish off the rough edges.
