Controller vib led mod + transistor
how many leds are you planning on putting. i would say it could handle prolly about 5 on each side. i dont know if i would go over 5, i dont really see where you are going with the transistor idea, can you explain some.
i wired one 3mm led on each side of mine and the vibration isnt as noticable now.
another question ... where is a good web based place to get GOOD led's in various colors ? i cant find a place with blue one's that arent stupid expensive.
123leds.com normally takes care of me pretty cheaply
By using a transistor I want to have the same vibration as the transistor will only be satureated or not and this shouldnt drop to much voltage. In the other side of the transistor (just like if it was a relay) ill put some led that take voltage from 5v so I could put lots and they will be realy bright each small bit of vibration.
I did some seach and I may also just use the 7 (9v??) rumble wire.... but im not sure if I can still use lots of leds....and just found that I dont want lots of leds....
123leds was out of stock last time i checked (yesterday) but they are expecting more sometime this weekend, dont buy from krappyzmodz.com they are scammers over their. a 15 year old kid runs the bizness and is very unreliable.
yike.... i tryed my homemade vib mode and now I think Ive burnt the rumble fuse into my ps2 .... even a working controller isnt vibrating... ill check for this later.... anyway it was quite a light when the mod was working
I haven't had much luck on his site, but I've heard nothing but good about him as a seller. I hear it's best to contact him directly through the xbox-scene forums.
