After putting a 12 v blue LED in my ps2 grill, my next little project is putting one in my controller plug so it illuminates the gap between the plug itself and the memory card. Just finished testing with my controller extension, Found the main power and ground, but without a multimeter am unable to accurately test the voltage, if anyone knows it would be a great help. Already blew a 6v led during testing, but one that i ripped from an old modem works fine, just the wrong colour (orange). Theres plenty of room inside the plug so i just plan soldering it to the internal pins, drilling a hole in the external casing of the plug and sticking it in there. In case of any problems i'm not putting it in the controller itself but a controller extension, they are cheaper, plus they are a lot easier to get apart than the official sony plug, that suckers a bitch .
