    This is the best fliptop customization once I fix the wire sticking out of the side situation.

    i got a similar setup already. since i don't use a hdd (and if i do it'll be external), i put the inverter inside the bay and cut the switch from the circuit; pulling it out to disconnect the light. or you could take the blue casing off the inverter tape it over and put it atop the heatsink close to the light and mount the switch on the side of the case. looks good.

    very clean cut and cool.....I have a fan there so the use a window was eliminated.

    i looks pretty cool. but i don't understand why you would go through all the effort to mod it and then use a fliptop... why not put a decent chip in it instead? you lost me there. but nice work nonetheless.
