Ok after finaly getting the mc exploit on a dvd I've run into this weird error

    PS2 independence installer
    code: Sjeep
    Exploit: Marcus R. Brown

    Error: No "files" directory

I've burned 2 dvd with this error and I'm damn sure I have a files directory on both of them. Any help would be great, im pulling my hair out over this.......

Mate .. When it says "5. The whole FILES directory", it means it. Just drop the folder called FILES onto the CDGenPS2 window.

Heh and regarding the lateness .. I only exploited mine yesterday too !!

I did that -_- even when i put it in my computer and check the contents i clearly can see a "FILES" folder there but exploit says its not =/

Edit: Does it matter where at on the disc the files folder is? like befor or after dummy file etc?

Not sure .. But add them in the order specified in the tutorial and it'll all be good.

Well I tried changing where I put the files folder and it still didn't work. Also i'm using a dvd because my magic swap "cd" hasn't worked since I got it (might be my ps2)

I can't understand why burning it to a dvd would give this error, the exploit even boots up which leads me to believe dvd is not the cause.

i would include some big files to the root of the dvd, to bulk it up abit some mp3s or a big movie file would help i imagine. but ive never burnt to dvd before
