ok it sounds like your PS2 is not reading the disc you burned.

What program did you use and what speed did you burn it at?

Try 12-16x speed to burn at.

Well you may have issues reading CD's, so you could do just burn uLe ISO to a DVD, and install fmcb 1.8 from a USB flash drive instead.

You would just have to read the Guides on what all to put on your USB drive

    To correct you....
HDLoader is only for internal HDD (for phat PS2 or for slim with HD-Combo)
Not for external with USB ! ! !

So you have to use OPL or PS2ESDL for your USB-HDD....

so i installed all the games with usbutil
then i downloaded opl 0.8 but i wasn't sure how to install it into fmcb...
so i put the opl 0.8 elf file into a usb stick and i tried to run it with the fmcb in the ulaunchelf option.. Note "in the ulaunchelf browser i am able to see that the mass storage device is plugged in "the harddrive" but when i click into it... i get 0bytes which means nothing is in the harddrive"
the screen loads for opl 0.8 and then it crashes... or if it loads... it wil not be able to see any hard drives available
