TSOP and PS2

Im not exactly sure what a TSOP is (n00b here) but its something to do with overriding the "protection" of a flash in a chip inside a console by soldering 2 points together (at least thats what Ive read). Also homemade modchips can be made. Where are those found?

It can be done for Xbox. Wouldnt it also be possible for PS2?

tsop from my xbox knowledge at least stands for thin small outline package. i dont think the ps2 has a flashable tsop though im sure you are thinking about xbox moddding man

xbox bios chip can be flash enabeld

ps2 is a read only chip not flashable

or learn how to use the search button is the best first lesson

Yea im thinking from a Xbox perspective...

Its too bad there truly is no free way to mod a PS2....

You can program your own Neo2 modchip ...still need a swap method for DVD-game but it can be free.... (samples 12c508 from microchip)

If you just plan to play psx game this chip is perfect.
