    Hi everyone,

I'm currently trying the swap trick with 007 Agent Under Fire and I'm not having any luck with it.

I've followed the instructions on the swap trick page and replaced the DRIVING.ELF but when I try to boot the level, all I get is a black screen.

At first I thought it was my USB since it's a kingston but even without the key it wouldn't load...

    My PS2 (Slim) is 790001 v.8D

Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

    Thanks in advance!

What is your swap method? I have no idea what you tried. Pretend I don't know your swap method and tell me what you did in order to swap. Or, mabey its your disc. You could have edit ISO wrong. Or mabey your PS2 knows you swapped. If not dis-regard this message.

    1) I loaded the original game - 007 Agent Under Fire
    2) At the screen where you select Load, Save, Options etc. I took the disk out and then put the copied disk in.
    - The slim stops the disk once the door is opened and I change the disk.
    3) I then load the driving stage and the screen goes black.

I've tried this with and without the usb key plugged in but it doesn't make a difference... still a blank screen.

if you have a slim then you need to modify the sensors so that the console will read the back up as an original disc. you also need to try out a different USB flash drive other than a kingston (kingston is the worst type of flash drive medium to use on the console).

do a search on youtube for sensor modding a slim or ask DJ for help.

I see... in that case, let me buy a new usb key tomorrow.

What brand does everyone here use? I'm hoping to get one that I can run games off of too.

You have to block the 3 sensors on the PS2 (voids warranty) have a member do install = save warranty..

Youtube videos show you how, it's very simple.

yup, i also use sandisk cruzers for a usb flash drive (good compatibility). well, if i'm not mistaken (veterans can correct if i'm wrong) you can now play games (disc images) with the updated OpenPS2Loader v0.5 with usb flash drives provided that the storage medium is formatted w/USBAdvance/extreme format. if i'm not mistaken then you can go ahead and get at least a 4GB sandisk usb flash drive to give some games a spin.

but right now you need to get FMCB installed on your console and using the 007 trigger disc method is way easier than doing it on a FAT ps2 (gotta cogswap which is a hassle).

as DJ said that there are 3 small sensors located throughout the console and they need to be "blocked." just youtube a search bro.
