Swap magic won't work WTF
It looks like I orignally put this thread in the wrong place, so I am moving it to here.
Ok, I got magic switch in today and the damn thing isn't working!
I tried putting in the "Magic3Plus" disk, and everytime, the disk makes a very loud whirrling noise, then says "The disk can not be read". Then, I try "swapmagic 3 coder" disk that also came with it. It runs fine. I tried installing all the pieces, and actually TOOL E was pretty easy. Went in with a bit of patience. I am wondering however, if I got TOOL B right, because, while it stays and holds the disk break back, it still doesn't hold it all the way, just a little bit of space to still go on the right side that little switch has. Anyways, I tried TOOL A, and for whatever reason, sometimes it pops out. I don't understand why. I put it in the system and it seems to be fine, but then, it will pop out after I close / reopen the top a few times. So, I put in the coder disk, open the tray up and take the disk out, then put in "Final Fantasy X: International Ultimate Hits" inside, close, the tray, select NTSC and default (to see if it made a difference), and it simply goes back to the screen where you can see the memory cards and disks. Then I get "Please insert a Playstation or Playstation 2 format disk". WTF, I did EVERYTHING right! There is no way I made a mistake.
Is there a difference between the magic 3 disk and the coder disk? One says DVD, and the coder one says compact disk. My copy of FFX also says DVD on it.
PLEASE HELP!!!! I REFUSE TO PLAY THE INFERIOR NA VERSION OF FFX!!!!!
