Swap Magic + Unmodded Slim PS2

I am an utter n00b in this realm. I am trying to play Guilty Gear XX Slash and Beatmania IIDX Red but they aren't loading up. I downloaded and burnt Swap Magic 3.0. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?

If your ps2 is un modded, and you are using an un modded system, you cant use that.

Modded ps2 = Backups, homebrew
Unmodded ps2 = Origional only

So you are saying I wasted a disc? Is there a way to play Backups without Modding the PS2 and doing abunch of miscellanious stuff?

Well, if you had a fat ps2, you could do the independance exploit, but your best bet with a slim ps2 is to either get it chipped or to buy swap magic.
