Swap Magic 3.6 question

Hey guys im having some trouble with my Swap magic 3.6. I put in the dvd-rom and use the swap card to pull out the tray and put my back up in..... and hit program and it tells me, " Not a vaild PS2 disc", So i try it again but this time instead of putting in the backup i insert the original and it still tells me that its not a vaild disc

Is there something im doing wrong since it wont even load the original. Thanks for any help

Nm got it working although pal games do blink, is there a way to this. ty

Make sure the video is set to the right mode (pal or NTSC) do not set it to normalo otherwise you get the error you get
