That TOC list was helpful.
Question: I'm using Cogswap from my memory card (using KeyLaucher, which lets me select which ELF I want to load), and I do the swap successfully. However, all I get after the swap is a black screen. I'm using Devil May Cry as my High TOC game, and even when I try to load a backup copy of it (because the original is not in a great condition), it doesn't work. I get the balck screen and I even wait like 1- minsutes, adn nothing happens. this happens for most of my games. Red Dead Revolver loads to the title screem, but as soon as you select "new game" it hangs at the loading screen (waited 1-2 minutes, and still says "loading").
Is this normal? Any advice?
*shrug* Before you go about saying things like "HEY DOODZ, Y IZ NE1 USING SWAP MAGIK NE MORE? COGSWAP LOADER SLASH EXPLOIT IZ DA BEST!!! EL OH EL!!" you have to consider everybody's situations..
For one, some people only have a PStwo, and it's already been confirmed that the ELF exploit for one doesn't work on it.
For two, some people are really lazy, why go through all that trouble just to install some exploit on a memory card when they can just place an order for a disc that will arrive at their doorstep and be done with it?
For three, some people are even lazier than that, why use a Cogswap loader which requires more swapping than the Swap Magic loader? Sure, Swap Magic has a few issues with a few games (those over 4.35GB), but when all you need to do is put in Swap Magic, then afterward your backup, it makes things much easier.
Besides, alot of the games over 4.35GB can be patched or rebuilt to work with Swap Magic, no problem. Also, you can use Swap Magic's TOC refresh with a Devil May Cry or any original 4.37GB game to fix the TOC issue.
It's not that big of a deal.
