Swap CDS Other Than Swap Magic

Does anybody know if it is possible to use anything other than the Swap Magic CDSto load burned games. I lost my CDs, and i dont want to have to buy them. Please tell me this. I have played on the ps2 for i dont know how long. All my games are burned.

Nope, no hd, u install cd-loader or cogswap-loader into your memorycard. U can then boot cd-loader/cogswaploader by booting a Real Ps1 game.

Thank alot Jack. But Have u tried this? If so. Can you give me a step by step walk through, i was really confused about some of the stuff. I know i need to go and get my cousins Action Replay MAX, and load a bunch of stuff on to it. But i have no clue about the technicalities.

Sure, Ill help u all I can. I dont have a AR EVO so I havnt tried it that way (I did it the Swapmagic way) so I do know all the basics.

U might wanna look at http://www.exploitstation.com they have a AR.Max saves forum (u need to register). There is some premade saves u can try first.

Something like this is a bit on the techical side, but it works just do one step at a time:

Uh, and dont forget .. even if u get the exploit to boot cd-loader/cog-swaploader u still need to make a swap between the ps1 game and your ps2 backup :
1. U boot ps1 game/exploit (cd-loader/cogswap boots)
2. press eject (tray opens)
3. insert real ps2 game cd or dvd (u must have one of each...sorry)
4. press eject (tray closes)
5. swap in your backup cd-r/dvd+-r
7. press x

useing that method above defeats the whole purpose that he was talking about but whtaever

you can build a save with ps2savebuilder that contains boot.elf and title.db and have the root/id as badata-system and save as ar evo save type or w/e. then you can load it using the lil usb thingy.

just wonderin, for the swap, do i need a fliptop, cuz i can't seem to load my burned games, I have cogswap and cd loader.

if you dont have a flip top, you can make a "slide card" out of a credit card (dont buy one), but if you wanna save your PS2 get a no-solder chip.
