SM2 DVD to MC + HDL

I need some help figuring out how to set up the MC exploit so I can run HD Loader. My swap magic 2 DVD center is cracking, and currently being held together by super glue. I am sure its only a matter of time until it breaks completely.
Right now I have been following Dv8 and goldfire's tutorials for the MC exploit.
I have the network adapter, a compatible maxtor 80gig, an original ps1 game, sony 8meg memory card, a breaking swap magic 2.0 DVD, and a flip top.
The tutorials tell you how to make a CD based MC exploit installer, but since I only have SM 2.0 DVD, I cant load a burnt CD. Is there a way to make SM 2.0 DVD load a CD? Or maybe make a DVD version MC exploit installer?

You can try loading up swap magic dvd then press eject. Load in an original CD game and then swap in the burned disk. I have no idea if this will actually work, but it's worth a try.
