Hi,im having a little trouble using my slide card,i can get my disc tray to open when i slide my card to the right but i cant seem to get it to close when i have to slide it back to the left.Any help is aprecciated.

Hi,im having a little trouble using my slide card,i can get my disc tray to open when i slide my card to the right but i cant seem to get it to close when i have to slide it back to the left.Any help is aprecciated.
Closing the tray can be a little tricky. First the white pin might need to be pushed a little "into" the ps2 and then to the left. The white pin dosnt click into place easy when u push it left, so u might need a little force to get it tightend in left (and slightly out?) position (and yes only a little - dont break off the pin!). a bit like this (X is the way to go):

IF U HAVE A GOOD SLIDE CARD OR MADE UR OWN IT SHOULDN'T B A PROBLEM :cry: ..BUT THE TRICK I USE IS WHEN IM READY TO CLOSE MY TRAY , I PUSH IT BACK AS FAST AS IT CAN GO AND THAT WILL USUALLY GET THAT WHITE PLASTIC TRAC PIECE TO GO ALL THE WAY TO THE LEFT BUT JUST IN CASE ALWAYS FOLLOW ^ WITH UR SLIDE CARD..THAT ALWAYS WORK 4 ME. HAVE FUN :)

I would never use a slide card.
Everytime u use it , it can or does damage your PS2 dvd-rom.
