yep if u boot cog swap through the media player
Or swap the disc without the PS2/AR Max knowing and boot up with that.
the newest ar dusnt stop spinning
You can still do it just hurts the PS2 a littlePersionaly I would get a modchip/swap magic insted of wreaking your PS2 and causing you stress. iHackPS2(dot)Org for Swap Magic 3.6 Plus and Magic keys only 19$ plus 3$ shipping!!
AR wont run cogswap.elf on my slimline PS2 from my pen drive. How can I get it to work?
Do you have any other files on the pen drive? If you do you might want to rename them to old-school DOS-compliant names (i.e. 8.3, no spaces or symbols other than underscore and dash). I've had a problem where AR doesn't like certain long/unusual filenames and just stops looking for any other files, which effectively makes a bunch of files "invisible".
Also, you could try renaming cogswap.elf to autoexec.elf, but if that works any other programs/files on the drive will be unusuable because AR will auto-run autoexec.elf if it's found. If it works, though, you could probably put a launcher in as autoexec.elf to get around that problem...

thanks for the tips Ex-Cyber! Unfortunatly they didnt work though
keylauncher works from my pen drive, but it always gives me an error about the configuration written in spanish. I assume its having a problem with the kl.dat file on my MC. where axactly in my MC should the KL.dat file go?
another question
USB advance runs from my pen drive in AR media player, can I run an elf like cogswap from the same pen drive I put usb advance on(anything special I need to do to the pen drive), or do I need a seperate usb drive to run it?
You can run any amount of elf files from the same pen drive as long as there is enough space. My Cruzer micro is only a 128mb but i can fit all my elfs and then some on it (whatever elfs that arent on my max mem 32mb)
