psx swap problems on v12

I recently bought a mint copy of FF7 (ntsc version) on ebay and i would like to play it now hehe. I used my AR v2 bonus disc for swapping everything boots up perfectly except my game isn't using the whole screen.

I have a big black bar underneath my tv screen. I knew that modchips had some kind of fix for this: Import Games Fix (All PSX NTSC import games are played at FULL SCREEN and FULL COLOR !!). But i'm using swap discs...

is there anyway to fix this? Does the breaker pro bootdisk fix this? i really need help i want to play this so badly!

edit: forgot to say that i have a PAL v12 pstwo

Buy a True RGB Scart cable for PS2, that'll fix the problem. Game & Argos sell them anywhere between about £5 & £15.

Wierd. Thats pretty much the one I use, but an older version of it that I originally got for the PSX & it works perfectly for me.

You could try using CDVDLoader before you load up the AR2 Bonus Disc & select NTSC mode on that. It would probably mean the AR2 screens would be 'off', but the game might then end up being fine.
