PS1 games in a Ps2 question

i read somewhere that you cant play backup PS1 games with the swap magic 3.6 discs.... did i read this worng? what is the CD boot disc for then?

No the Swap Magic CD is for PS2 CD games. For PS1 backups you need Breaker Pro 1.1 form iHackps2.org

thanks, there are actual PS2 games that fit on a CD-R?

all the cd games have awful grahics like speed kings

That's not true! ICO has some pretty good graphics.

Rez, The Thing, Ridge Racer 5, Capcom VS SNK 2, Maximo, etc. Just a few CD based games that have good graphics for a PS2 game. Just because a game doesn't have an hours worth of pre-rendered FMVs instead of keeping the game going.
