ps1 exploit help

iv installed a dvd of idependence compiler to the hd and when i put the files like hdl ,title db to memory card and when i load a ps1 game civilisation all i get is a white screen for 1sec then bsod ???? and when i try to load hdl7c,hdl8b,hdl8 antifreeze from the hd i get bsod but i can load cogswap please help thank you

How did you get the files to memory card? Whats your BOOT.ELF? Please a little more info.

i installed the exploit to hd using independence compiler 4.1 and its got launchelf 3.4 as boot,then from file browser i transfer elfs like hdl07c,hdl8b,hdl anti freeze,title.db of civilisation 2 ps1 pal to bedata system all these when used i get bsod but i can get cogswap to work.im a uk pal ps2 user with hda2.1 retail nonmod.i burn the exploit to dvdr and when i put the ps1 game in i get a white screen then bsod so as the trigger cd dont work i load what works like cogswap from the hd but why doesnt the exploit work

iv dl eu but its the same as ic??? whats the difference for the two

Ok. So let me get this straight, you have an original HDA 2.1 disk, you have installed a disk image to your hdd (to use with HDA)with your exploit files on that image. My next question is, is your PS2 networked to your PC or do you have the option of swapping disks. Also Is your boot elf named BOOT.ELF (case sensitive) because it sounds like your title.db file is correct because its launching the exploit but crashes wen it tries to load your exploit ELF.

Not to be rude but you haven't done near enough reading because getting the exploit to work is very trivial. Read some more or give some real info on your situation because your way to vague.

iv got the exploit to work before but lost the ps1 disk,so im using next ps1 disk,ill check the boot.elf and i can swap trick.also if the boot.elf is not in captital leetrs how can i change it and does the boot.elf have to be in captital leters thanks

if your screen flashes but does not launch ULE, then

1.you need another boot.elf (done)
2.you need to make sure you had enough space on MC as you copied the exploit (sorry dude, I didn't feel like rereading, so dunno how you got the exploit on mc...)

If the screen does not flash at all, but your triggerdisc plays instead

1.you need to check your title.db
2.or use another triggerdisc
