ps1 exploit compatibility

hello i installed the exploit on my memory card today but it didnt work with the original ps1 game that i have.

the only original ps1 game i have is driver. but this version of driver was released right before driver 3 was released last year. So this is not the original release of the game. is this why the exploit wont work for me?

any 1 know if the release of driver that i mentioned is compatible with the exploit?

It is possible that they now put some kind of protection on the discs to prevent the exploit. It also won't work if you have the new slim ps2 (I think).

i have the fat ps2 v9. ill have to go buy a ps1 game i guess.
