I'm having trouble trying to get backups to work on my 3003 ps2 with fmcb 1.8 installed.
I made an iso from burnout revenge and patched it with ESR Disk patcher gui 0.24a and I burned it to a TDK DVD-R disk at 4x and at 8x but it don't work at all, im having the same problem with Jak and daxter 1. What am i doing wrong?

I'm using imgburn to create the iso

Does it work on the originals? If so it might be a laser issue. Burnt media is generally harder for the PS2 to read then original DVDs, and causes issues where it might read the original, but not a burnt disc of the same game, patched or not.

TDK, is not a good brand of media to use.... Try a higher quality Sony, Verbitrim, ect.... And burn the .ISO's at half your burners max speed.

I use IMGBurn and the speed set to AUTO, and haven't had any problems.

I can vouch for sony dvd-r. All I use for PS2 burning, burn at auto speeds, never a hiccup.

Memorex dvd-r has given me problems, not just on the PS2.
