play burnt psx games on fmcb'd v4 ps2 –

hey guys, i am curious if anyone knows how to play burnt psx games. i have a version 4 ps2, uLE 4.25, fmcb and use a slide card. i tried using cogswap w/ an official ps1 game, but it didn't work, it just lagged out. i can play the burnt psx games, but i have to go to browser, load real psx games, and then i have to use slide card while disk is still spinning, which hurts motor. is there something like cogswap for psx games, or any other method that won't screw up my motor? many thanks.

the same way you'd do it if you were using the independence exploit. Moving to the appropriate section.

bet either a ps1 gameshark or a breaker pro disc. those will act like swapmagic but for ps1 games.. then you will either use a flip top case, or a cut up expired credit card to allow to open the disc tray without pressing eject so you can trick the system into thinking a real disc is in there instead of a burned one. and my mistake. this topic should have gone into swap mod.

gameshark. I've used gameshark 1 vers. 4.0 successfully on both my ps1 and my ps2 to swap out for a backup game. and with cheats if I wanted them. should be able to find one at a local swapmeet/flea market for a buck.
