(old to xbox) new to ps2 modding hlp me plz!!

ok i have an unmodded ps2 (not slimline) with the Final Fantasy XI harddrive and a net adapter
i have a 123mb USB jumpdrive (thumbdrive or any of the million names they have)
a memory card
a psone game
about all the exploit noob programs i can download

ok the ONLY thing i want to do is play games off of my harddrive
im thinking i can send whatever program i need using the winhiip to my harddrive
and send all my backed up games also
but how would i launch the games?
i dont want to have to order or buy anything
im about flat broke
so can someone help me
cant i just run keylauncher through the browser?
i can launch "playonline" through it (you know the App that lets me play FFXI)
there should be a way 4 it work somehow.....just a thought
but can someone help me ..i read on the "eurasia forum" that some guy did it without a memcard or something like that but when i asked him he never replied

What you need is to do is perform the HDLoader Mem card exploit that once completed will launch the HDLoader menu after putting in a ps1 game linked to the exploit.
