I have two ps2's a v3 (laser not working) and a v10 (bought to replace v3),non are chipped but i have installed a 80gig hd in the v10 running off hd advance, now all would be fine except my two young boys have taken a keen interest in my ps2 and i want it back lol, so what i wanted to know is could i install hdadvance to the hd so that it doesn't need the disc? if i could i would then put the hd in my other ps2 so i could have mine back,it would also give me an excuse to get that 200 gig maxtor i've had my eye on.

    Hi,

wrathofpyro is right, you can't get around it, hd advance can't be copied so your best bet is to buy a new copy, the latest version is 3.0 which has better compatilbilty and supports DVD 9 games as well so if you are still using version 2 or 2.1 it would be a better choice anyway, we sell it ourselves, check out www.estormuk.com
