Need help launching uLaunchELF

Hi,

Please help me, I've been trying to launch uLaunchELF (tried a bunch of different versions) with no success. All I get is a black screen and the PS2 freezes. My machine is unmodded and I'm launching the elf through the media menu of my Action Replay MAX. I simply put the BOOT.ELF by itself on my pendrive and run that.

Is this a good way of doing things? I can't seem to find a walkthrough on how to do this right...

Perhaps you need some IRX files?
