NBA Street v.3 Problem
NBA Street v.3 Problem –
I have a v4 PS2 with SwapMagic 2 discs, everything usually works fine except...
I am having a lot of problems making a backup of NBA Street v.3...I recently got a new computer with a new DVD Burner...I used to use Prassi PrimoDVD, but when I try to start it up now, it says there's no compatible drive, I downloaded the latest Px Engine that I could find, but no dice...
So I got RecordNow! Max Deluxe 7...it makes the .gi file fine...but every time I try to burn it, I get an error and a wasted disc...
I've burned the .gi file with DVD Decrypter, and it "successfully" burns...but when I swap it'll hang at the loading screen...
Anybody else had problems with it??? Any advice???
I installed a HDD and the exploit not too long ago...I've noticed that ever since I've done that Burnout 3 also hangs after it's done "loading"...but I'm running both Street and Burnout off of a DVD-R, not through HDLoader...
i get nba street 3 to hang also thier is a smd fix by dvd rick that you can use
I installed the DVD Rick patch and my game loaded on my PS2, slowly...then it froze up during the opening movie...
Anyone got any other advice???
electric jimi - You've got PM...
In order to get this game working you will need to rebuild the whole ISO which changed the size of the game from 4.37GB (this size is very problematic when it comes to burning them) to about 2.3GB if i remember correctly. If you look on google you should be able to find a guide or two explaining the whole process of rebuilding ISOs.
I finally got it to work...the DVD Rick patch never worked for me, it always created another .iso file that was the exact same size as my original...
I got it to work with IsoBuster and CDVDGen...
The tutorial section has freezes but so far the game itself seems to work fine...
hey all! i'm new to the community but i too had issues trying to burn this - even with the dvdrick patch - but thankfully, i got a 120gb HDD and i just uploaded the ISO to my drive using HDL Dump/Dumb and it works like a charm.
I have a 160gb HDD...but I needed to burn it so I could play it online...
