It seems like didgy production quality...Vazel if you break the 3 pieces of plastic that would otherwise hold the white magnetic pad to the flip top lid you should be able to close the door after you change games. Anyway it aint that much of a big deal that you do have to keep putting magnetic pad on top of game every time...after all you still have to get out of Ur seat to actually change the game in the first place...

I don't know about your's... but I can unscrew the part with the 3 pins holding the disc from my flip-top. Also, use the magnet disc that came with your ps2, not the one that came with the flip top!

yeah, i had to do the same thing. the white disc that came with fliptop wouldn't spin as fast as the disc. it made rubbing noises and even wore some of the color off the design of one of my retail DVD games.

just pop it out and replace it with the orginal from sony.
    Code:
     ______ _______ ______
    | __ \ __|__ | V9 w/ Fliptop
    | __/__ | __| 80 GB HD
    |___| |_______|______| Brown MC exploit
