Memory Card Exploit To Boot Hdloader
Memory Card Exploit To Boot Hdloader –
06-28-2004,07:31 PM
here are my specs:
spch-50001/N
serial:FS10
barcode:Px710
my goal: to boot a psx Utility cd(a modified title.db file) with my original psx game(nitrous oxide). A ps2 memory card exploit so i can boot hdloader
procedure:
1. http://www.jeexlabs.com/hdloader/
2.http://www.megagames.com/ps2/ps2swap/index.shtml
i burned the utility with nero on 4x with a cheap cd-r. I did both of the swap tricks and cannot successfully complete it. Do i need a gameshark/action replay to do this swap?
so i can't use my Original Psx game and swap it with my utility cd?
is there any possible way to transfer those files in my memory card without doing any swap tricks? and then load up my psx utility cd?

Ok...I'll just say what I think you need. ( It might not be the right thing...but it should be almost right. ) You need a gameshark2 version 2 ( or an old AR...swapmagic..yada yada ). Download the hdloader "lite" elf. ( I dont know anything about that one :-\ ). I would install PS2Menu...it may not be "easy" for someone new to get around in it, but you could boot the hdloader "lite" elf. ( I dont really know whats in the file pack that you got. ) I think you could make the exploit cd on your own. Once thats all done, put in your gameshark/load swap thing, and load it, put in the burned cd, and it should install. I have seen if you have jap game saves on the mc, it wont install, but get the error "Can't open TILE.DB" Or something of the like. If you need anymore help, pm/email ( Or AIM/MSN me
).

Hi,
I am running in exactly the same problem (cannot open TILE.DB file) when running the exploit. I run on the following env:
PAL PS2
Messiah chip (I tryed the 2 configuration possible for the chip).
Exploit found on the net
In the system.cnf --> NTSC written at the end of it
I made the titleman correctly, using Final Fantasy IV PAL disk as swap.
On my MC I have: system conf, DVD Driver + some save of PAL games ONLY, no import.
And It displays the TILE.DB error. I don't understand why ? Any help ?

I recently got the HD Advance installed on my Memory Card & have to load it up with a PS 1 game .
I currently know that games like..
Frogger, Time Crisis 1, Supper Puzzle Fighter, & Tekken 3 boot up the HDA, But does anyone else out there know of any other titles that load up the program?

If you open the TITLE.DB file used for the exploit with a text editor like Notepad/Wordpad you can see the title and the SLUS XXX.XX. You can use any of the titles in here or, using Titledb Maker v0.5 by Dark_Killer you can add other titles you own.
