Yea, as the title says, I'm a little overwhelmed with finding a means of booting up the Free McBoot installer. I initially planned on simply picking up a copy of AR Max at Gamestop, but then I heard the only version that can do the exploit is the version with the Max Media Player. (Which, as far as I know, is the now out-of-print version from 2004.) I then planned on doing one of those 007-esque disc swap exploits, but then I got intimidated with dealing with all of the LBA values and other such things in creating a disc image, among other things.

Basically, what would be the quickest to obtain and easiest to use item that installs FMCB? I hear SwapMagic's pretty good, but my patience would wear thin with all of the waiting and such...waiting for the thing to arrive would be the hardest part, lol.

I used Codebreaker to install it on my memory card, but I just checked ebay and they are going for such ridiculous prices now. I paid about $20 brand new some years ago. Why not try fmcb installers?

I was hoping to install FMCB myself, but if it comes to that, I will give it a shot.

I don't know what you're willing to pay, but this seems to be the cheapest I could find.

memor 32 isn't a bad bet, after installing FMCB, you're left with something useful: a 32 mb memory card, and also, you can back up your saves on your pc, i know you can do this anyway with FMCB installed, but it's still handy. i paid €28 for mine, mayb you could pick one up second hand or something?
anyway, i used this method, &worked well for me, but if you do use this method, i would recommend you use FMCB off the official 8mb sony memory card, and just use the memor as an extra card or something

Nevermind, I managed to install FMCB via the 007 exploit. Thanks for the suggestions, though! I'll keep them in mind incase others ask me to install FMCB to their mem cards.
