05-14-2006,12:29 PM
Alright I can not figure how to put a background into launchelf. i downloaded jpeg pictures put it on my usb stick then i transfer to the same memory card as the launchelf. then i go to screen menu, and then skin, find the jpeg image, and then push apply skin. nothing happens. am i suppose to use a different format or a program to apply the skin? i am using the usb-memory card format.
thank you
Sorry forgot I am using LaunchELF 3.66

@yen817,
You are doing everything ok, except one thing, because you are using Photoshop you need to save the image in a different way:
In Photoshop, after you finish editing your image, goto 'File' -> 'Save for web' and then save your image.

First of all a mod should move this thread to the correct place.
Also you can have a look at www.allps2skins.com for some great examples of already made skins that work. I also know that photoshop adds some header info to the .jpg file that will not work with uLE.
Have a look at this thread http://www.psx-scene.com/forums/showthread.php?t=45302
Have fun!
