Ok, Ive been out of the loop for awhile.

to keep a long story short, Ive lost my original HD loader disc, and ontop of that, my fiance deleted the corrupted (Exploit files) off of my memory card, so know I have a hard drive full of games that I need to play.

Im looking into ways I can re-install the exploit to get up and going again, and the Action replay seems to be the easiest to acquire, since it can be had a walmart ect.

I plan to use either my Ipod, or digicam or whatever as the USB device.

Will this be all I need?

Also, upon reading a little bit, it appears that creating the ICONS may be important into fooling the action replay/PS2 into thinking that this is no longer corrupted data? Is that just an incorrect hypothesis of mine?
