independence to load Ps2link?
independence to load Ps2link? –

Do I need to run independence exploit on a chipped ps2 with dev1 and dev2? I was thinking that this is only for people without chips to launch homebrew. I basically have a chicken and egg problem. I need to start ps2link so I can reprogram my laser eeprom with lenschanger. I need to somehow get those files onto my memory card. I was thinkiing to use independence so I could install the lenschanger proggy and ps2link.elf. Can I use my ULE that I'm booting right now to start ps2link and then run the lenschanger software from my computer? I know you can't run everything off of a CD with lenschanger...doesn't make sense how are you gonna reprogram at the same time as read the lenschanger files from the very laser you're using. Should I make the Exploit CD and get the necessary files on the memcard? This way I could launch ps2link and stuff then I can run lenschanger? I have a Crystal 2.0 Pro and a 64mb megamax memory card. Can a V5 motherboard even read CD-R's. I'll plan on using CD-rs for my exploit CD.
BTW:
Oh one more thing if I do decide to do exploit...can I use a non original game to trigger the exploit. I think I can since I have a chipped ps2.
Thanks.
