Im pissed/gonna break down and Cry right after i kill my ps2 And Need to know something, can you help?

okay, so i have been reading and watching all i can i did it for ever and decided heck with it im gonna try a gameshark hack or what ever u wanna call it

Abd then SP193 (PSx-scene Member) told me my scph 50001 wont work with that,

My question is, and this is probably stupid but if i get a exploited memory will it work on my PS2 system scph 50001,

basically what im sayin is - will FMCB work on my model,

And dont rip my head off if this is has been answered ive done my share of searching Believe me, but i have selective memory plus adhd when i was a kid, so basically what im saying is my brain hurts... too much Reading / watching / info for a newbie like me

Can i install FMCB on any PS2 model?
All consoles made before mid 2008 work with FMCB. The new Slim SCPH-9xxxxx models with a Date code of 8C and a BIOS v230 dont work with FMCB. All models after this version also will not work with FMCB.

Yes, FMCB will work on your console.

Normal installs will work if the console used to make the installation is from the same region as your console. The region number is the last two digits of your console's model number.

E.g. SCPH-50001 -> USA SCPH-50000 series.

The only regions which can share installations will be those UK (03) and European (04) units.

If you are not sure, get multi-install of FMCB v1.8c done on a genuine Sony Playstation 2 Memory Card.

I recommend you do the game swap trick if no other methods are available to you. Go to your local gamestops and find a copy of 007 Agent Under Fire for $2. This game will 100% work for a game swap to get uLaucnher booted, which will allow you to run the FMCB .elf installer from a USB stick. Once FMCB is installed onto your memory card, your PS2 will be exploited simply by having the FMCB memory card plugged in.

Don't let the compatible game list on sksapps website fool you, there are MANY games which are exploitable. For instance, I used a copy of Mortal Kombat Deception. I think alot of games that had online functionality would be able to do it.

Sorry to jack this thread but has anyone tried an Action Replay disc to boot the hack? my action replay wont install the exploit but im sure I can still use it somehow.
