Ok guys,
This is what appened to me. I got a image from somewhere that said KeyLauncher 0.2 +USA. From what I read around I thought it was some kind of file manager, so I burned it just to look at what it was. Little did I know it was an independence installer... It started copying some files and not wanting to corupt anything I've left it do its thing for about 30sec. Then a message apeared saying the installation was complete. I don't have a HD in there or network adapter nothing. I just know it took about 3megs out of my memory card and I can't see the files it installed. How am I gonna go around erasing that stuff?!?!?

It installed the exploit... insert a ps1 disc... I'm guessing it installed an 800+ title.db file... try using discs untill it works... then you can use keylauncher to erase the files....

I don't have any ps1 disks. Isn't there a way to burn a disk with some utilities on it, like a file manager so I could erase those?

Make a disc that boots launchelf... learn how to make this over at exploitstation.com in the vid tutorials section...

Great, solved my problem.
Only thing is, I'm using swap magic to load the disk, I added a bunch of elfs in the disk just to try them out. I know I can put .ELF files on my MC and load them with the SMD. I created a folder called "SWAPMAGIC" on my MC and copied some elfs there, but launchelf wont let me rename the files to what I want. Am I stuck doing another CD and renaming the files before I copy them to my MC?

You can rename then using launchelf filemanager... if that doesn't work for whatever reason then copy the elfs to badata-system (may be slighty different depending on your location) since launchelf may not like the long folder name (swapmagic)... try that....

thx for the help, I appreciate. I tried what you mentioned but the fact is, launchelf just won't let me rename anything from the memory card. Seems I need a HD or USB stick.:P
Its ok though, I made another disk with all my elfs in different folders, and I"ve renamed some copies of them to "SMBOOT0.ELF", "SMBOOT1.ELF" etc...so I have all the elfs I know about ready to copy to my MC.
Sad thing is half of them don't work. And one of the only one I like, PS2MP3 as a wierd bug in it.
Thx again for the advise, my MC is fixed and I've tried alot of elfs on the way.
